Geological mapping and services in Saudi Arabia

Takween provides geological services for mineral exploration programmes across Saudi Arabia. Our geologists map, log and interpret the ground, from geological mapping on the Arabian Shield to core, RC and air core logging at the rig, connecting observations, structures and samples to the exploration question so every drill hole has a clear purpose.

Geological mapping

Field mapping records lithology, alteration, structure and mineralisation at surface. On the Arabian Shield, where rock exposure is often good, careful mapping is one of the fastest ways to rank targets and decide where to drill.

Core, RC and air core logging

Our geologists log diamond core and RC chips to consistent standards, capturing lithology, alteration, veining, structure and mineralisation. Logging at site means holes can be adjusted while the rig is still on the pad.

Structural and mineralisation observations

Understanding what controls mineralisation is what turns intersections into a model. We record structural and mineralisation observations that feed directly into interpretation, sections and target ranking.

Target development and programme support

We help turn results into the next decision: refining targets, planning follow-up holes and supporting the programme through each stage, from greenfield reconnaissance to brownfield extension.

Working across the Arabian Shield

We work on greenfield and brownfield projects across the Arabian Shield, sedimentary basins and volcanic terranes, for gold, copper, zinc, silver, lithium, base metals and critical minerals. Fieldwork is planned around heat, access and remote-area safety, and every observation is recorded so it can be traced and reviewed later. As part of the SASROCK Group, Takween draws on more than 35 years of group experience in mining and field-project delivery in Saudi Arabia.
